Thank you for writing a blog for me.. so touched! Well, life here is quite bored for me... If I wish to go out by myself, I will think twice because the weather is so cold until I rather choose to stay in the room or lab. Besides, I scare I will get lost in Korea! Better wait until I know how to get back to my hostel and learn a few korean words for survival here first only explore to this mysterious country! It is different in NZ as I can still ask the way in english if get lost, here no.. not because they are reluctant to help but they are helpless... Anyway, I can still explore my university and it's surrounding with my foot, I guess i won't lost kua... Food here, personally I do not really like it.. Of course their main food is rice.. I guess you will like it, rice, beef, pork.. your favourite but not mine.. food in canteen is not so tasty and not many choices.. but food at outside is not bad oh, might be because they put a lot of artificial seasoning to make it tasty? I guess.. Things here is approximately 3times of the price in Msia. Milk is more expensive than in Msia too. It is hardly to get cheap fresh fruits and vegetable.. quite expensive... Transportation within town still consider ok,with the taxi, buses easily available. If cross town, should be more expensive, just like when I get the bus from Seoul to Gwangju, 4 hours journey costs me RM100++ a trip...
Alright, what else you wish to know?

Swee Swee,
The summer will coming soon, so I wish the weather will become warmer so you can go out and explore.
Wei.. any way to contact you? waht is your number in Korea?
i can understand why you dont want to go out.If I was you, I will do the samething too. If you scare you will get lost, easy! Copy you full address and school phone or hostel phone. Then if you lost, you can ask the korean people by paper!!

I envy you can learn korean language!! I wish to learn too! I saw Korea people language is Korean and Japanese. Can Korean people speak Japanese??
Personally, I don't like Korean food so much except their barbeque meat and rice. Kim Chi, I am sorry.. others... lagi tak boleh!!

Milk is more expensive? how much? HOw much for a normal a bowl of mee? RM4?? or RM12? Do they have halker centre like malaysia? Do they sell a bowl of mee like Penang or must be a set of meal includes soup, drink, appetiser?

I think it is really inconvenient to live in a country with the language barrier. Although one might say using hand language may help? Perhaps, it is still very difficult especially for me who is not good in expresing myself with the action and gimmick. Anyway, I do not limit myself to stay in the room only.. haha.. I can walk around the campus by foot, follow senior to go shopping complex, and luckily I got my good roommate to help me too..
Kimchi? Soon or later you would like it if you stay in Korea for a longer time.. Ehm.. this is herad from those stay longer here...
Japanese and korean language are totally different! So it is definitely for korean ppl to speak japanese. If they are same, then it would be easier for me but in fact nope. Started to attend korean language class, gradually can differentiate those confusing pronunciation.. Hehe.. teach you when I am back la.. gotta pay me fee one... 2 years in korean is not enough to master korean language but I hope I can learn for communication lah..
Milk ar.. I couldn't remember the price clearly. Sorry, old liao.. can't remember it..
A bowl of mee? Mostly they sell rice(fried rice, rice served with soup, or sth sth) with many side dishes, which the side dishes can be refilled as much as you wish... a normal meal costs about USD3 to USD5. The drink is usually the plain water which is free, self service...No special drink to be ordered unless you want to drink beer which is the favourite of korean ppl.. You should know that they like to smoke and drink alcohol...
